Our International competition was a huge success.  In the breaking board competition, it was Joshua Bagshaw from Katana Jiu Jitsu Club that won the trophy.  

Over 120 students entered the competion and we are very proud that one of our members was successful and broke the toughest board.

We will be back again in April 2015 and hopefully we will defend our title.

"We had a fantastic day and would like to thank Soke Alan Campbell and Soke Stefano Mancini for an excellent course.  

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all that attended and the Senior Instructors that assisted on the day.  We are proud to host this event for the UK and look forward to our next International Seminar in November 2014.

Callum achieves Golden Glove

A BIG congratulations to Callum Hill who won his Golden Glove award recently. 

 Callum can be seen here shaking hands with Sensei Riley, who added: 

"Callum continues to make us very proud.   

Our standards are very high and Callum shows excellent technique"

Congratulations to Leon Guest who was awarded his headband for winning the Flying Kick Competition at Katana Jiu Jitsu Royton.  

Leon demonstrated excellent technique to achieve this.

New Senior Class

Our Senior class has extended to Sunday's at Royton

This class will commence at 7.30 - 8.30 and will begin on October 2nd

Flying Kick Winner!!

A big congratulations to Alex Darlington who won the Flying Kick competition last week at Royton Scout HQ.

Alex won the competition by defeating all his fellow competitors and then went onto beat a Prefect to win his award.  This is the 3rd time Alex has won this competition and his headband is the reward for achieving this goal.

Golden Glove Winner!

Congratulations to Kameron Howarth who took all the glory and won the Golden Glove award over at Delph on Wednesday 9th February.  Kameron was presented with his certificate at Royton on Sunday by Sensei W.Riley.

Well done Kameron and keep up the hard work.

We have extended our Sunday session at Royton Scouts HQ to include a senior class. 

This will begin after the junior class at 19.15.

Grading this week!

Just a reminder

GRADING is this Sunday 19th September at Middleton Arena

Commencing around 9.30 and ending around 12noon.  Normal mat fees apply as there will be a training session also.

Castleton Closed for Holidays

Just a reminder that Castleton is closed on Friday 3rd September for a local holiday.

The alternative adult session is Oldham Sports Centre on Monday 6th September

The alternative junior session is Thursday at Middleton, Sunday at Royton Scouts HQ or Oldham on Monday

Junior Black Belt Mocks

We will be holding mock gradings for the Junior Black Belts on
