When to start?

It is never too late to start Jiu Jitsu. Children can start from four years old and learn from the very start how to defend themselves when attacked. Martial art practice installs a sense of self discipline by teaching the strict codes of Jiu Jitsu. The student learns from the outset how to safely protect the vital parts of the body from injury.

We warmly welcome beginners and invite you to come along and have a look. Here is how.

1. Choose a venue from the locations and times just below.

2. You can call in advance and ask any questions you may have. Email us if you like katanajj@gmail.com

3. Or you can just turn up and have a chat.

4. Or bring a T Shirt and some Tracksuit bottoms and join in!

5. Have some fun, you will enjoy it.

6. First lesson is FREE!!

We warmly welcome beginners and have many times and venues to choose from. The club is very family friendly with many "mums and dads" also becoming students.
